Rudratej Singh (46), President and Chief Executive Officer, BMW Group India passed away on April 20, 2020. The cause behind the sudden and unexpected demise is yet to be ascertained, the company said in a press release. Unconfirmed sources said that Singh died of a cardiac arrest.
“Our prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult period. He will always be remembered as an inspiring and compassionate human being,” the release from BMW stated.
Rudratej Singh, also known as Rudy, joined BMW Group India on August 1, 2019. His demise comes at a crucial junction when BMW Group India was in midst of implementing strategic measures for strengthening the dealer network across India, the release added.
Before joining BMW Group India, Rudratej Singh served as President, Royal Enfield.
