JSW Motors Limited, the new energy passenger vehicle arm of the JSW Group, has appointed Pankaj Doval as Senior Vice President - Corporate Affairs & Public Policy. In his new role, he will lead the company's engagement with central and state governments, regulatory and policy institutions and industry bodies, and will oversee corporate affairs and stakeholder advocacy across the organisation.
The appointment comes at a defining phase for JSW Motors as the company moves towards launch of its new energy vehicles while scaling up its greenfield manufacturing facility at Bidkin, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra. The scale-up spans policy, regulatory and industrial development priorities, and making sustained engagement with government and policy stakeholders.
Doval joins JSW Motors after a career spanning nearly three decades in business journalism, most recently as National Editor at The Times of India.
