The handover was done in the august presence of the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami, at the CM House in Dehradun. The initiative coincides with the observance of the International Day for Older Persons and aims to strengthen emergency medical response services for the elderly population.
MG Hector redesigned into the ambulance, will be stationed primarily at Ram Vihar and Prem Nagar in Rishikesh, and will contribute to providing medical assistance at critical times. Equipped with essential medical facilities, such as oxygen bottle, oxygen system regulator, auto-loader stretcher, ventilator, and para-monitor, among others; the vehicle has been customized to ensure safe and swift transport during dire medical situations.
