Electric commercial vehicle sales grew by a whopping 156.4 per cent in Feb 2026 YoY from 800 units in Feb 2025 to 2051 units in Feb 2026, according to the latest data released by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA). Electric three-wheelers grew by 25.60 per cent in Feb 2026 at 66,398 units as compared to 53,082 units in Feb 2025.
Tata Motors led the industry with 638 units, followed by Switch Mobility Automotive Ltd with 358 units and Euler Motors with 293 units.
Leading the electric three wheeler pack was Bajaj Auto with 8728 units as compared to 4588 units in Feb 2025. In second place was Mahindra Group with 7878 units (5877 units) and TVS Motor Company with 2447 units (309 units).
