Schwing Stetter India, a leading manufacturer of construction equipment in India, unveiled over 20 new products at Excon 2025, marking the pivotal moment for the construction equipment sector with multiple “firsts” for the Indian market. These included India’s first 56-metre boom pump engineered and built in India, the country’s first full EV truck mixer, first CNG mixer variant, and first hybrid boom pump. The launches were to address India’s demand for faster, greener, and taller infrastructure through advanced engineering, clean energy solutions and circular materials.
Alongside these innovations, the company introduced precast technology for India in collaboration with MAXtruder GmbH, a new range of next-generation concrete equipment, and Schwing’s latest crusher solutions for aggregates and C&D waste recycling. The showcase was anchored by the experiential “Schwing Innovation Booth,” where visitors engaged with interactive demonstrations of future-ready technologies.
“We are answering not only India’s call for Vikshit Bharat and Atmanirbhar infrastructure development, but a global call for taller, faster, and greener infrastructure,” said V.G. Sakthikumar, Chairman & Managing Director, Schwing Stetter India, Adding that, “This is our most enterprising Excon ever, with multiple India-first launches – our aim is to address key gaps in the construction industry, such as project delays, material handling, inefficiencies and combatting sustainability challenges. With rapid urbanization pushing for vertical growth to house doubling populations, our machinery enables taller structures via high-reach pumps, speeds up projects with automated tools to cut delays and costs, and fosters greener practices through decarbonized logistics, low-emission tech, and resource recycling”.
The Schwing Innovation Booth stood as the strategic centrepiece of the company’s presence, functioning as a live technology lab where visitors interacted with the ideas and systems powering the machines.
Key experiences included the Future Power Zone, showcasing the S36X Hybrid Boom Pump with dual diesel/electric operation and the 100% Electric Transit Mixer concept for tunnels, airports, and dense city cores, and the Hands-On Command Center, with a virtual smart mixer simulator and futuristic touch-grid to guide a boom pump model, helping visitors grasp reach, movement, and safety envelopes, etc.
Schwing Stetter India showcased ~30 machines across 7,500+ sq. m space, highlighting India's first 56m boom pump (S56SXF) for long-reach pours on infrastructure; first hybrid 36m boom pump (S36X) for electric operation; compact 31m boom pump on 2-axle chassis for urban use; CNG/EV truck mixers for decarbonization; FBP 29 mixer pump for seamless efficiency; cold-start self-loading mixer for high-altitude areas; new crusher range for aggregates and recycling; concrete recycling plant; and containerized mobile batching plant with twin-shaft mixer, dry mortar, ice, and precast equipment, partnered with MAXtruder GmbH.
As Excon 2025 continues to spotlight advancements in the sector, Schwing Stetter India's innovations underscore a commitment to sustainable, efficient infrastructure development—paving the way for India's evolving construction landscape.
Electric Transit Concrete Mixer
Schwing Stetter India, in collaboration with Qucev Technologies, successfully unveiled the Schwing Stetter, India’s first Battery Electric Transit Concrete Mixer (eRMC). The landmark launch underscores both parties’ commitment to driving sustainable, high-performance construction equipment for India’s evolving infrastructure landscape.
The newly introduced 7m³ Electric Transit Mixer brings significant advancements in energy efficiency, operational savings, and lifecycle value. With its advanced electric powertrain, industry-leading safety standards, and superior performance engineering, the model delivers compelling cost and environmental benefits for ready-mix concrete operations.
At the core of this eRMC is the BYD-patented Super Safe LFP Blade Battery, known for its exceptional safety, thermal stability, and long service life. The mixer is equipped with a 192.5 kWh battery pack supporting 240 kW dual CCS2 DC fast charging, enabling the vehicle to achieve a full charge in just one hour—a breakthrough for high-utilization construction environments.
The eRMC comes equipped with a 20 kW max rated power drum motor and 130 Nm max rated torque, ensuring reliable, high efficiency mixing performance. The model also features a redesigned ultra-modern cabin, engineered to enhance operator comfort, visibility, and overall safety during long working hours.
