Kia India has announced opening of bookings for its first made-in-India 7-seater electric vehicle, the Carens Clavis EV starting 22ndJuly 2025.
Customers can book the Carens Clavis EV through https://www.kia.com/in/home.html and Kia dealerships across the country by paying a nominal amount of INR 25,000. Designed to meet the evolving needs of prospective EV customers, the Carens Clavis EV combines style, performance, space, and smart features without compromising on affordability.

The Carens Clavis EV is powered by reliable and efficient electric powertrain for effortless and responsive performance. It comes with two battery options - 42kWh with ARAI-certified 404km range (MIDC full) and the 51.4kWh battery pack with an ARAI-certified range of 490km (MIDC full).
Engineered for confident and smooth performance, the Carens Clavis EV comes with fast charging capabilities (10% to 80% in just 39 minutes via a 100kW DC charger), electric motors delivering 126kW and 99kW output with 255Nm torque, and four levels of regenerative braking system using paddle shifters.
