2019 Porsche Macan launched in India at Rs 69.98 lakh

The new Macan comes with an enhanced 2.0L turbocharged four cylinder petrol engine capable of producing 252hp and 370Nm of torque. The Macan S gets a bigger 3.0L V6, turbocharged engine that churns out 354hp and 480Nm. Both engines come mated to a 7-speed automatic Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) gearbox. When equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package the Macan can go from 0 to 100kmph in 6.5 seconds while the Macan S can do the same in just 5.1 seconds. The base model can reach a top speed of 227kmph while the more powerful Macan can reach 254kmph. The revamped chassis improves driving dynamics by offering stability and improved comfort. You get mixed tyres with 21 inches wheels as an option, adaptive air suspension, all-wheel drive system, Porsche Traction Management (PTM) system and torque vectoring.

The new Macan sports improved looks with a revamped front and rear end. LED headlights are standard and you get a new three-dimensional LED tail-light which runs across the boot. Porsche is offering the Macan with four new colour options – Mamba Green, Metallic, Dolomite Silver Metallic, Miami Blue and Crayon.

The seats inside the Macan are covered in Alcantara and the steering wheel, selector lever and armrests are finished in leather with additional full-leather interiors available as an option. You can also get the GT steering wheel as an option. There is a 10.9 inches touchscreen infotainment system at the centre of the dash.
