Tata Motors has launched the Tiago NRG for Rs 5.49 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the petrol variant and Rs 6.31 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the diesel. This new SUV inspired avatar of the Tiago is being called as the ‘Urban Toughroader’ by the company.
The Tiago NRG is powered by the same 1.2L Revotron petrol engine and the 1.05L Revotorq diesel engine and will be available with 5-speed manual transmission. It will come in 3 attractive color options – Malabar Silver, Canyon Orange and Fuji White, with dual tone infinity black roof and roof rails. The SUV character is aided by a large 180mm ground clearance and a suspension setup tuned for rough terrains.
The exteriors of the Tiago NRG get visual enhancements like black roof and roof rails, skidplate and 4-spoke dual tone alloys on the side. The interiors boats of a 5-inches touchscreen infotainment system, 8 speaker sound system by Harman, navigation and voice command. A host of safety features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking assist, armoured body cabin and more have been integrated into the vehicle.
