The expanse of the country is filled with a variety of terrain and most of the exotic destinations it offers can be traversed by road. But on these journeys your friends and family are not your only companions. The vehicle you choose to take on these expeditions is also your companion. We got our hands on the new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga SHVS and decided to take it on a journey. But this journey was chosen specifically to test the Ertiga SHVS.
Maruti Suzuki calls this a Smart Hybrid Vehicle so we took it for a spin through the crowded streets of New Delhi and on to the open highways of Uttar Pradesh. The vehicle uses deceleration and braking to generate energy to power this start stop function and therein lies the Hybrid technology.
