In a fascinating turn of events at the Force Gurkha RFC 2016, Gurmeet Virdi and co-driver Kirpal Singh Tung of Gerrari Ofroaders managed to maintain their top spot despite stiff competition on Day 3 as well. Virdi closed the day with a total of 1472 points followed closely by both Malaysian drivers Merwyn Lim and Tan Eng Joo of Force Motors who were just 12 points behind Virdi and Singh and were tied with a total of 1460 points.
Kabir Waraich and co-driver Gagan Sachdeva, driving the third Force Gurkha vehicle of Force Motors managed to secure fourth position after a relentless effort on the dirt. Waraich crossed Abhinav Nukala and co-driver Laxmikanth Thota of the CORAC team and Bijender Singh and co-driver Gajender Singh of NIOC team from Delhi. While Nukala maintained his position as fifth on the points table Singh dropped down two spots to number six.
The Predator stages were held in Cavorem, South Goa where contestants were put to the test in near jungle like environments. Each SS was designed to test driver skill and wit along with vehicle capability in multiple ways. The Predator SS saw broken transmissions, steering rods, roll overs and recoveries with tasks getting more challenging and participants looking forward to the Terminator Special Stages on Day 4.
