Up until now the Force Gurkha RFC competition felt a bit one sided with both Malaysian drivers Tan and Merwyn ranking at the top of the table. Day 2 however was not going to be the same. Gerrari Offroaders driver Gurmeet Singh gained two ranks to close the day at the top of the points table with a total of 987 points. Singh was followed closely by Merwyn Lim of Force Motors in second with a total of 985 points.
At the end of day 2 Tan Eng Joo of Force Motors lost two places to close the day at number 3 on the points table with a total of 957 points due to a DNF (Did Not Finish) in SS-9. Kabir Waraich moved up to number 6 on the points table and closed day 2 with 781 points. While day 1 was on the tougher side, day 2 was a step up from what competitors were put through. Almost all Special Stages (SS) required competitors to hook up a winch and get them self out of near impossible positions.
A few competitors found themselves flopped over sideways with cranes being called in to pull them out. One such competitor was Pradeep Kumar of Bangalore Offroaders Development Association (BODA) who had a rollover in SS-8. Day 2 of the Prologue Special Stages of RFC 2016 saw bodies bruised, jeeps overturned, winches worn out and lots of rain but the spirit of competition did not seem to have dimmed in any for the contenders thus far.
