Honda has announced that three riders from India will compete in the Honda Asia Dream Cup 2015 season. The India contingent from Chennai consists of Sarath Kumar, Hari Krishnan Rajagopalan and Sethu Rajiv.
The Honda Asia Dream Cup series will consist of 6 rounds across Asia. Twenty-two riders from 11 different countries including India will compete in the 2015 season. The ultimate goal of Honda is to develop Indian racers to graduate eventually to Moto3 and MotoGP. If the rider finishes the season in the top 8 of the championship, the rider will get an opportunity to qualify in Moto3.
The first round of the season at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia, Sarath Kumar clocked 8 points while also setting the fastest lap of 1.20.768. Hari Krishnan was able to bag 6 points, while Sethu Rajiv did manage to complete the race.

The racers now move to Sentul International Asian MotoGP circuit in Indonesia for the next-round, to be held from June 04-07, 2015.
