The Singapore Grand Prix – the first night race in F1 history to be run in wet conditions—saw both the Ferrari drivers Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen crashing out of the race, while Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes grabbed his 60th F1 victory. With this win, Hamilton has extended his championship lead over Vettel from three to 28 points with just six races to go.
Among the first ten were Force India’s Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon who finished 5th and 10th respectively bringing points to the table for their team.
Daniel Ricciardo of Red Bull Racing came in second followed by Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas. Coming in fourth was Carlos Sainz of Toro Rosso, while Jolyon Palmer came in 6th for Renault. Stoffel Vandoorne came in seventh place for McLaren, while Williams’ Lance Stroll came in in eighth and Haas’s Romain Grosjean ninth.
