Gautam Hari Singhania, Chairman and Managing Director,
Raymond Limited secured a historic podium finish and became the first Indian
racing at the world’s biggest Ferrari event – Finali Mondiali at Abu Dhabi’s
Yas Marina Circuit. Singhania finished 3rd in his category – Coppa Shell and
14th in overall out of 43 participants on December 5, 2014 in Race 2 of the
event. He finished 4th in Race 1 the previous day in his category and 12th
overall out of 43 participants.
Commenting on his
win, Singhania said “It is a proud moment for me to secure a podium place in
this tough and most competitive race. Getting the podium from the 26th position
was a big challenge and I was up for it”.
