Honda Motor Co., Ltd. has released the first picture of their 2016 F1 power unit which they are still developing for McLaren for the upcoming FIA Formula One (F1) World Championship next year.
Honda had offered a preview of their F1 power unit in the form of a clip including the sound of the engine during the 2014 Japanese Grand Prix.

In addition to conducting simulations, Yasuhisa Arai state that Honda have moved onto the next stage where full-fledged bench tests of the engine will be conducted while connecting the turbocharger and energy recovery systems as Honda’s racing operation base in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, has become fully operational.
