In an event held in Mumbai, Tata Motors felicitated the Indian women’s cricket team. The players were presented with the brand-new Tata Sierra in the presence of N. It may be recalled that the Indian Women's Cricket Team had won their maiden ICC Women's Cricket World Cup by defeating South Africa in a thrilling home final in Navi Mumbai on November 2, 2025. Key performers included Shafali Verma and Deepti Sharma, earning widespread celebrations. In the final match India beat South Africa by 52 runs. Shafali Verma (87 runs) and Deepti Sharma (Player of the Tournament, 5 wickets in the final) were instrumental in the victory. This was India's first-ever 50-over World Cup title, making Captain Harmanpreet Kaur only the third Indian captain to lift the trophy.
