Ultraviolette has announced a landmark achievement in the automobile space, as Ultraviolette customer Harish Surampade has successfully exceeded 1,00,000+ km on his F77, underscoring the motorcycle’s real-world endurance and engineering excellence. This milestone comes at a time when Ultraviolette is expanding its Indian and global footprint proving that long distance touring is possible on electric motorcycles.
Commenting on the milestone, Narayan Subramaniam, Co-founder & CEO, Ultraviolette, said “Harish’s achievement is a defining moment for electric touring. When we set out to build the F77, the vision was clear - create machines that would shatter every limitation associated with electric motorcycles. Completing 1,00,000 km across cities, highways, borders, and high-altitude terrain proves that long-distance electric travel is no longer an experiment; it is reality. Riders today can tour farther, faster, and more confidently on electric than ever before, and Ultraviolette is leading that transformation.”
One of the most significant engineering validations from this endurance achievement is the battery health reading of 96%,after completing 1,00,000 km. This is testament to Ultraviolette’s battery architecture, which combines high energy density, precise thermal control, and robust energy management to maintain long-term stability and efficiency.
Niraj Rajmohan, Co-Founder & CTO, Ultraviolette, commented “The F77’s battery was engineered to deliver world-class durability, performance, consistency, and long-term reliability. Seeing a customer’s motorcycle retain 96% of its battery capacity after 1,00,000 km of real-world riding is the ultimate validation of that engineering. And the F77 continues to prove what India can build for the world.”
Over the course of his journey, Harish and his F77 crossed nine international borders and rode across varied terrains including some of the highest mountain passes in the world, highways, forest stretches and coastal routes. The ride also tested man and machine, through extreme temperature variations from -15°C in high-altitude zones to 48°C in peak summer conditions. In one of the most demanding legs, Harish clocked 613 km in a single day, validating the motorcycle’s touring efficiency and powertrain endurance.
