As per the provisional results declared at the end of Day 2 of The Rainforest Challenge (RFC) India 2023, Dr Mohammed Fahed VP and co-driver Rajeev Lal from Kerala have climbed up two spots on the ranking board to claim the top position with 646 points out of 800. These points are based on the team’s performance in 8 out of the total 26 Special Stages (SS) that the competitors have to complete before the ultimate RFC India 2023 Champion is decided.
Goan driver Cedric Jordan DaSilva (co-driver Mackwin Dias), who was at the first position on Day 1, has slipped down one position to take the second spot with 635 points. The Goa duo had the perfect 100 score in SS 6 and SS 7 and looked all set to retain their top position on the second day of the mega off-road motorsport competition as well. However, they did not attempt SS 5, which led to the change in their rank at the end of Day 2. Anand V Manjooran (Chethan Chengappa) from Kerala, who got a DNF (Did Not Finish) 20 points for SS 5, also went down one spot on the ranking tables and ended Day 2 of RFC India 2023 at the third position with 608 points.
Eric Benny (Siraj) has climbed up two positions to claim the fourth position at the end of Day 2 with 530 points while Dr Chaitanya Challa (Hamdaan Khan) from Hyderabad has gone down one spot to the fifth position with 512 points.
