FuelADream, a Bangalore-based crowd funding platform has announced the launch of an electric bike called eRideLite at a starting price of Rs 23,900 (MRP Rs 37,000) for the RL50 model. The RL90 model that travels a little more on batteries, has been priced at Rs 35,900 (MRP Rs 50,000).
The eRideLite team has been working on the project for the last four years. The two models are differentiated by their range—one travels 50km on a single charge and the other has a 90km range on a single charge. These eRideLite electric bikes are available for pre-orders exclusively on FuelADream.com
The products were launched in the New Delhi in the presence of Ajeet Kumar, Founder & CEO, R2H Motors and Ram Prasad, CMO, FuelADream.com.
The bikes come with easily removable, stem-mounted battery. The bikes have a decent pick up doing 0-20kmph in 10 seconds with a maximu speed of 25kmph. These bikes come with two ride modes—electric and manual/ pedal mode with six gears. Other features include a sturdy, patent-pending frame design, disc brakes on both wheels, shock absorbers in the front wheel, etc.
