Indian IT manufacturer Ambrane, known for their power banks, has brought out another product in the wearable segment by launching the Smartwatch ASW - 11 for Rs 1,999. The ASW - 11 doubles up as a fitness tracker and can be paired to your Android device via Bluetooth. It comes with a 1.44 inch LCD touchscreen display and has a 128X128 pixel resolution.
Users can connect their smartphones to this smartwatch and with the help of an app control various phone options using the watch. There is an in-built pedometer in the watch that counts your steps and displays them. You can also monitor your sleep patterns using the ASW - 11. The smartwatch comes with a mic and you can use it to make and receive calls, set alarms, reminders and control your phone's music player. iOS devices do not get any app but you can still access many of the functions after pairing such as pedometer, calendar, call sync feature, clock, stopwatch, music player, and hands-free calling. Even if you do not connect the ASW - 11 to your smartphone, it acts as a digital watch.
