Rockstar has announced a new launch date for their highly anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2. The game is now set to launch in the spring of 2018. This might break the heart of some fans as a teaser trailer revealed 7 months ago stated an initial launch time of fall 2017. While we may have to wait a bit longer to wander through the wild west during the golden age of cowboys, it is relieving to hear that Rockstar has decided to push the launch date in favour of making the game much better. This is what the press release had to say, "(Red Dead Redemption 2) will be the first Rockstar game created from the ground up for the latest generation of console hardware, and some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible for our fans."
As of now there is only news of the game being made for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox one but we have hopes that PC gamers will get to cherish the experience as well, even if a bit late.
