The electric commercial vehicles segment sales in the domestic market grew by 148.9 per cent in the month of April 2026, as compared to April 2025. Tata Motors led the segment with a 201.5 per cent growth. This was revealed in the Vehicle Retail Data for April'26 released by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA).
In April 2026, Tata Motors sold 799 units as compared to 265 units in April 2025. In the same period, Euler Motors sold 518 units (38 units). In third position stood Mahindra Group with 285 units (168 units).
As for the electric three wheelers segment, sales in the domestic market grew by a mere 3.30 per cent in the month of April 2026, as compared to April 2025. Mahindra Group took the top slot with 82.71 per cent growth with sales of 10292 units in April 2026 as compared to 5633 units in April 2025. Bajaj Auto was No. 2 with 9725 units (5509 units).
