Electric commercial vehicles saw an overall growth of 120 per cent in FY 26 as compared to the previous fiscal. The CV segment saw sales of 19,454 units(8820) in the current fiscal. Electric three wheelers grew by 18.87pc with total sales of 8,30,819 units (698914), according to the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) Vehicle Retail Data for March'26 and FY 2025-26.
The leader in the pack in the electric CV segment was Tata Motors with 6023 units (4291) in FY 26. The Mahindra Group as well as Mahindra Last Mile Mobility recorded sales of 2888 and 2885 units respectively. Switch Mobility and Euler Motors recorded sales of 2255 and 2093 units respectively.
Leading the electric three wheeler sales was the Mahindra Group with 101873 units and Mahindra Last Mile Mobility with 101015 units for FY 26. Bajaj Auto sold 89,604 units, while YC Electric Vehicle sold 36807 units.
