Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) unveiled its Rage+ Tipper with Hydraulics at Municipalika 2026, India’s leading exhibition focused on urban infrastructure and municipal solutions. Priced at Rs 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom), the Rage+ Tipper is a zero-emission electric three-wheeler purpose-built for municipal corporations, urban local bodies, and government sanitation departments. Designed to support efficient and sustainable waste management, the vehicle combines long range, high load capacity, and durable construction to meet the daily operational demands of civic authorities while advancing cleaner city initiatives.
With the rapid electrification of municipal fleets across India, electric garbage tippers have emerged as a critical category within the B2G (Business-to-Government) segment. Waste collection vehicles operate in high-density urban zones where emissions, noise pollution, and fuel costs significantly impact city environments. As governments accelerate sustainability targets under initiatives such as Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, electric tippers offer lower operating costs, reduced carbon footprint, and improved operational efficiency—making them a strategic investment for municipalities transitioning toward green infrastructure.
Omega Seiki Mobility has already supplied over 200 electric garbage tippers across India, particularly in western states, reinforcing its leadership position in the 3W B2G electric mobility space. The company currently holds a B2G order book of 500 vehicles and is targeting deployment of 1,000 garbage tippers in FY 2026–27, reflecting strong demand momentum from government bodies.
Vivek Dhawan, Chief Strategy Officer, Omega Seiki Pvt. Ltd., said: “Municipal mobility is at the heart of India’s sustainability journey. The RAGE+ Tipper reflects our commitment to building robust, zero-emission solutions tailored specifically for urban sanitation needs. With the longest range in its category and an industry-leading warranty, we are enabling municipalities to adopt electric mobility with confidence and long-term economic viability.”
Ashhar Idris, VP – Sales, Omega Seiki Pvt. Ltd., added: “Our focus has been to engineer a product that delivers operational reliability and superior value for government partners. The RAGE+ Tipper not only reduces fuel and maintenance costs but also ensures uninterrupted daily operations with its large battery pack and durable metal body. Municipalika 2026 provides the perfect platform to demonstrate how OSM is driving practical and scalable electric solutions for cities.”
The Rage+ Tipper offers best-in-segment specifications, including a 250 km range on a single charge, powered by the largest battery pack in its segment at 15 kWh. It features a hydraulic tipping mechanism for efficient waste unloading, a strong all-metal body, and a 500 kg load-carrying capacity designed for rigorous municipal usage. The vehicle is supported by an IP67-rated charger for enhanced safety and weather resistance, along with an industry-leading warranty of 5 years or 2 lakh kilometers, ensuring long-term reliability and peace of mind.
