TIL Limited, India's leading material handling and infrastructure equipment manufacturer, marked a pivotal moment by unveiling three breakthrough, 100% indigenously built material handling products at Excon 2025, India's premier construction equipment exhibition. The launches, held at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), showcase TIL's commitment to engineering excellence, safety leadership, and indigenous manufacturing capability as the company positions itself as a comprehensive solutions provider for India's infrastructure growth story.
The five-day exhibition brings over 1,200 exhibitors from across the globe and thousands of industry professionals, providing an ideal platform for TIL to demonstrate its expanded product portfolio, technological capabilities, and strategic vision for the Indian material handling sector. TIL's participation at EXCON 2025 comes on the back of steady operational progress, with the company reporting a healthy order book of over Rs 200 crore and a 12% year-on-year revenue increase to ?81.45 crore in Q2FY26.
The headline launch is TIL's CarryKing 515, the fully patented pick-and-carry-on-deck crane developed with a comprehensive understanding of modern job-site challenges. Powered by an Ashok Leyland H4C513022 engine, it boasts of a class-leading 130Hp output and has a claimed top speed of 26.5 km/hr unladen. This breakthrough product offers exceptional versatility with a 15-tonne pick-and-carry capacity at 2.5-metre radius and a unique carry-on-deck feature that can transport up to 6 tonnes.
The crane features a 360° continuous slew capability both on tyres and outriggers, a 4-section boom extending from 6.5 to 17 metres, and 4x4 drive with 4-wheel steering for superior manoeuvrability in congested job sites. The machine addresses critical safety concerns in a segment that has unfortunately witnessed numerous accidents due to equipment that compromises on safety standards. Equipped with a microprocessor-based multifunctional safety system, the CarryKing 515 is ideal for carrying pipes, logs, and heavy loads across shipyards, ports, construction sites, manufacturing plants, and power facilities. TIL believes roughly one-third of the pick-and-carry crane market—particularly large companies and contractors working on major infrastructure projects—will gravitate toward this product because of its uncompromising focus on safety, stability, and operational control.
The second launch marks TIL's strategic re-entry into the truck crane segment with the TMS-885, an 85-tonne capacity truck-mounted crane featuring enhanced performance and advanced features, at a competitive price. With a 5-section full-power boom ranging from 12.1m – 43.8m and Cummins QSB6.7 – 260 HP engine, the machine can move with a top speed of 49 km/hr. This move aims to reclaim TIL's strong presence in a segment where the company once held 70–80% market leadership. The TMS-885 represents TIL's commitment to regaining market share through superior engineering, reliability, and customer-focused innovation, backed by the company's extensive after-sales support network.
The third product is the RT RST-8, positioned as the world's first rough terrain empty container reachstacker, developed specifically for Indian conditions and capable of operating effectively on unpaved and rough surfaces common to logistics yards, mining sites, and industrial facilities. This container handler features 4x4 drive and 4-wheel steer capability, handles up to 4 high cube containers in the first row with an 8-tonne lifting capacity and 12.6-metre lifting height, and is powered by a Cummins QSB6.7 173 HP engine. The RT RST-8 addresses a critical gap in the domestic market by offering enhanced safety, efficiency, and performance for container-handling operations in challenging terrain that many imported models are ill-equipped to handle. Designed for container yards, inland container depots, port terminals, and logistics hubs, the product also carries significant export potential in terrain-challenged markets abroad.
Commenting on the launches, Sunil Kumar Chaturvedi, Chairman & Managing Director, TIL Limited, said, “We believe our customers are the real heroes of India's infrastructure story, and these three products have been engineered specifically to address their evolving needs for safer, more efficient, and versatile equipment. The overwhelming early response to our revolutionary CarryKing 515 validates our belief that the market is ready for equipment that refuses to compromise on safety. Backed by eight decades of domain expertise, strategic global partnerships, and our strengthening pan-India service network, TIL is positioned to capture significant market opportunities and contribute meaningfully to India's infrastructure and self-reliance objectives.”

Further adding, Alok Tripathi, President, TIL Limited, said, “These three product launches showcase TIL's engineering capabilities and our deep understanding of customer challenges across construction, ports, logistics, and industrial sectors. Safety is non-negotiable for TIL 2.0, and this philosophy distinguishes our new products—particularly our pick-and-carry-on-deck crane, which is aimed at a market segment that desperately needs safer alternatives. Our 85-ton truck crane brings us back to a segment we pioneered, while our rough-terrain container handler addresses a critical gap with a solution designed for Indian conditions. As India builds future-ready cities and advanced infrastructure, TIL remains committed to driving progress with machinery that's smarter, safer, and more environmentally responsible.”
Highlighting the uniqueness of the products, Pinaki Niyogi, CTO and COO said, “We have launched the world's first rough terrain empty container handler, India's first truly safe pick and carry of deck crane and filled a crucial gap with our 85 to truck crane. The RT RST-8, CarryKing 515 and TMS 885 represent the beginning of a new era in India's material handling sector. I am proud of what we have achieved and excited about the many new projects in various stages of R&D at TIL 2.0.”
