Kolkata based Vibgyor group that has interests in real estate, automobiles, IT, cement and security services, has launched three different types of three-wheelers, thereby entering the commercial vehicle space in the country. The company currently manufactures motorcycles like the Hunter, Gallop and Shark. The vehicles were launched in the presence of Chief Executive Officer of Vibgyor vehicles Dibakar Chakraborty. The vehicles namely Vibgyor Auto (passenger), Vibgyor Cargo (pick up) and Vibgyor Van (delivery) are priced in the range of 1.75 lakh to 1.85 lakh against the existing rivals. They will operate in the metro and sub urban cities and will be available across the country through Vibgyor dealerships. The engines will be sourced by Greaves Limited and the manufacturing will commence at the Dhakuni plant in collaboration with Pashupati Vehicles. The company claims the vehicles are based on the pillars of convenience and comfort.
