ETO Motors, a leading electric mobility solutions and services company, has deployed its 1000th electric 3-Wheeler vehicle. The company’s products consist of the Trilux (passenger) and the Bulke Plus (Cargo) electric vehicles.
Apart from being an OEM for electric vehicles, ETO provides fleets for passenger and cargo applications, and is building a charging infrastructure network in various locations like Hyderabad, Delhi-NCR, Bangalore, Nagpur, Chennai, Noida, Vijayawada, and Visakhapatnam, and is further expanding in other cities.
“Today ETO Motors Team reached a proud landmark of deploying their 1000th Vehicle in a relatively short span of time and are now gearing up to have more than 5000 vehicles on the roads by March 23. The team has had committed & invaluable support from their clients, partners & stakeholders in this journey. ETO Motors firmly believes that it shall make a significant contribution towards India’s goal of 100% electrification by 2030,” said Deepankar Tiwari, Director &Board Member ETO Motors.
ETO Motors raised the bar by deploying over 50 all-women driven electric vehicles in Kevadia (Gujarat). The company has also been the last-mile connectivity partner to e-commerce giants like Amazon, BigBasket and Flipkart, logistic players like Gati (for IKEA) & DHL, and Bisleri water. Over 20 Lakh deliveries have been electrified through the ETO fleet.
The deployment of 1000 vehicles cut across several projects, including last-mile connectivity for commuters at various Metro rail networks like Delhi, Noida, and Nagpur, and being empanelled by BSES and Tata Power DDL set up charging infrastructure networks in the National Capital Territory area. The electronic city metro station in Noida would also serve as a charging hub for vehicles, part of the 3000 MWs of EV charging infrastructure that the ETO has already set up across different locations in the country.
Overall, deploying over 1000 vehicles has helped save over 500 metric tons of carbon emissions which is the equivalent of planting over 7000 trees.
