The domestic sales of Ashok Leyland trucks dropped by 29 per cent in July 2019 to 10101 units as compared to 14205 units in July 2018. The medium and heavy commercial vehicle trucks sales stood at 4668 units in June 2019 as compared to 8731 units in July 2018, thereby recording a 47 drop in sales. The M&HCV buses sales were 1350 units in July 2019 as compared to 1421 units in July 2018. However, the LCV segment recorded a 1 per cent positive growth with 4083 units in July this year compared to 4053 units last year.
