Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. (YMIS) has unveiled its Brand Mascot for their Yamaha Children Safety Program. The new mascot shall help the brand connect with children and further strengthen their concern towards riding safety. Yamaha Children Safety Program (YCSP) is a CSR activity by the company to impart knowledge about the vital road safety measures. Masaki Asano, Managing Director, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. stated, “Through the mascot we are focusing on building brand connect aggressively yet through a humane initiative.”
The cute, funny and brightly coloured mascot will appeal to little kids around the country. The mascot has not been yet named. Instead Yamaha India will name the mascot through a naming contest. Children between the ages of 5-12 years can participate in this contest by registering their name at any Yamaha dealership. The winner walks away with 1 year scholarship and other attractive prizes. Yamaha will announce the winner on the 5th of February, 2014.
