Steelbird Helmets launches SXE helmet for Rs 3599

The SXE is engineered with a tough, high-impact ABS shell reinforced with advanced fibre composites, coupled with a Black EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) liner and a shock-absorbing TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) layer. This advanced multi-layered liner system efficiently controls both linear and rotational forces during crashes, offering superior protection and enhanced rider safety. It is specially designed for enhanced impact management and to ensure efficient energy distribution during high-speed collisions, significantly reducing peak head acceleration and minimizing the risk of traumatic brain injuries (TBI).

Most Steelbird helmets that meet DOT certification are reinforced with fiberglass shell to comply with the stringent safety requirements of the DOT standard. SXE is certified under dual homologation, meeting both BIS IS 4151:2015 and the globally recognised DOT FMVSS 218 (Department of Transportation, USA) safety standards, reflecting its alignment with rigorous safety protocols to offer reliable, certified helmet protection in diverse riding environments.

It has micrometric buckle fastening system, offering easy, quick, and secure operation for daily use.

Enhancing versatility, the SXE is equipped with a dual visor configuration, combining a scratch-resistant, optically precise clear visor with an additional smoke visor for seamless adaptation to varying light conditions. It also features an inner sun shield, offering quick protection against bright sunlight without the need to change visors. The visor system is Pinlock ready, ensuring fog-free, distortion-free vision and uninterrupted visibility in any environment.
