Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) registered monthly domestic sales of 18,950 units in March 2017 against 17,430 units in the corresponding month last year, registering a growth of 8.7%. HCIL also exported a total of 145 units in March 2017.
New models in the HCIL line-up, including new City 2017 and sporty lifestyle vehicle Honda WR-V, contributed significantly to this sales growth. The City continued to be the best seller for the company with sales of 6271 units, followed by the newly launched WR-V with 3833 units.
