Maruti Suzuki India Limited launched its much awaited premium urban compact vehicle on the lines of the Mahindra KUV 100 at a starting price of Rs 4.59 lakh. The car will come with two engine options--Petrol Engine K12M 1197cc, Diesel Engine D13A 1248cc. Both the engine options will further have an option of an automatic transmission too.

The car is targeted at the millennials of the country. Ignis was launched at a concert on January 13, 2017 featuring Axwell, Swedish DJ, record producer and remixer. Few days back the company started online booking for the vehicle through Maruti Suzuki Nexa’s exclusive website - www.nexaexperience.com. The Ignis is being sold exclusively through Nexa showrooms across the country. The length of the vehicle is 3700mm, the width around 1690 mm and height 1595.
