One of the leading sellers of luxury German automobiles in India, Mercedes Benz, launched their new CLA sedan for a starting price of Rs. 31.4 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the CLA 200 d style variant. The CLA competes with the likes of BMW's 3 Series and the Audi A4. The sedan gets a 1991cc petrol engine along with a 2143cc diesel mill. The engines come mated to a 7G DCT transmission with multiple drive modes on offer as well.
The company is offering the CLA 200 d Sport (Diesel) for Rs. 34.68 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and the CLA 200 Sport (Petrol) for Rs. 33.68 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The CLA 200 Sport can clock a top speed of 240kmph and reaches 100kmph from standstill in just 7.1 seconds. The CLA 200 d Sport on the other hand gets a 0-100kmph time of 9 seconds and can reach a top speed of 220kmph. The CLA is offered with Eco, Comfort, Sport and Individual drive modes. The CLA features a long bonnet, re-designed tail lamps, high performance LED headlamps and high sheen alloys. The interiors match the sporty exteriors and offer a fine blend of high quality materials and craftsmanship. In terms of features the CLA offers customers an 8 inch high resolution display, two USB ports and one SD card slot, Garmin MAP pilot, bluetooth interface and much more. The CLA also offers a lot on the safety front with features like 6 airbags, attention assist, reverse camera, ESP, ABS and tyre pressure monitoring.
