Volkswagen India has launched the much awaited Ameo, the first sub 4-metre sedan by the brand. The Volkswagen Ameo is currently available with a 1.2L 3-cylinder MPI engine mated to 5-speed manual gear box.The car will have a starting price of Rs 5,24 lakh (ex showroom Delhi). It will be available in three variants: Trendline, Comfortline and Highline.
Volkswagen Ameo boasts of numerous segment 1st features. All variants will come equipped with dual front airbags and ABS as standard. The Ameo will be available across all Volkswagen showrooms starting July 2016. Customers can also pre-book the Ameo through the mobile application available on the Google PlayStore.
