(FCA) India has unveiled the iconic Italian brand, Fiat Abarth 595
Competizione, at the Buddh International Circuit in New Delhi. The price of the
Fiat Abarth 595 Competizione has been
fixed at Rs 29.85 lakh (ex showroom Delhi). The car will brought into India
through the CBU route.
The iconic Abarth 595
Competizione is a sports performance coupe with a powerful 1.4 litre T-Jet
engine producing approximately 158bhp and generating 230Nm of torque@ 2750-3000
FCA India also showcased the
all new Punto Abarth which has a 1.4 litre four-cylinder turbocharged T-Jet
engine, making it the hottest hatch in the country.
The 3-door hatchback 595
Competizione can do a 0-100 kmph in just 7.6 seconds which makes it furiously
fast and fun to drive. The top speed is estimated to be around 210 kmph. Low
ground clearance provides good traction and control for manoeuvring at high
speeds with confident driving. The 595 Competizione features large 17 inch

The exterior designing of the Abarth
595 Competizione is inspired from the Fiat 500 Cinquecento. The exterior body
is made up of steel and it is a forward wheel drive car. The Abarth 595
Competizione comes with the well acclaimed perforated and ventilated brake
discs which considerably improves the car’s reactivity while stopping. On the
features list, the Abarth 595 Competizione is provided with a world class
infotainment system, Xenon headlamps, rear parking sensors and Monza exhaust
systems taking the overall excitement to another level altogether.
The steering wheel is small,
leather wrapped with multifunction buttons cladded on y. The bright round dials
behind the steering favours sportiness and aggressiveness without compromise.
The 595 launched in India comprises AMT transmission with paddle shifts mounted
on the steering wheel. It features well contoured hand stitched leather seats,
promising comfort and agility at high speeds. Equipped with two driving modes,
normal and sport, the car delivers an enhanced driving experience.

The Abarth 595 Competizione
will be available in four colours - Iridato White, Scorpione Black, Cordolo Red
and Campovolo Grey. The company in its inaugural year will be introducing the
595 Competizione through the CBU route and will be available at select Fiat
dealers in five Indian cities namely New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and
