Isuzu Motors India has launched the MU-7
SUV with an automatic transmission at a price of Rs. 23.9 lakh (ex-showroom
The automatic MU-7
will be powered by the same 3.0-litre 4 cylinder Intercooled VGS turbo
diesel engine now available with an automatic transmission mated to it.
Isuzu has also updated some of the interior of the SUV. The Automatic gets a
new 3 spoke steering wheel with audio controls and a black and beige 2 tone
dashboard with wood trim. The old audio system has also been replaced with an
all new system with Sat Nav, rear parking sensor, reversing camera and a touch
The Isuzu MU-7 was first launched in
India back in December 2013 with a 5 speed manual transmission. Since then the
MU-7 is produced in CKD format at the Hindustan motors factory in Thiruvallur
Yamaguchi, Managing Director, Isuzu Motors India, said, “We are happy to add
the new MU-7 AT variant to our current product portfolio. The MU-7 is becoming
popular with its combination of style and substance and has been receiving
encouraging response from the customers, thanks to the sheer performance, space

Transmission variant with more enhanced features on the interior. Many have
approached us for an Automatic variant in the MU-7 and with this launch we are

The MU-7 will
be available at ISUZU’s exclusive dealer outlets currently operating across 25
locations in the country including Delhi, Noida, Jaipur, Mumbai, Chennai,
Bangalore, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Madurai, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Cochin,
Calicut, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Ludhiana, Lucknow, Gurgaon, Indore, Vadodara,
Kolkata, Jalandhar, Jodhpur, Chandigarh and Nagpur.
