Hyundai Motor India Ltd. has launched
their global sub-compact SUV -- Creta in Delhi for a starting price of Rs.
8,59,558 (ex-showroom Delhi). The Creta is Hyundai’s first vehicle in the
growing sub-compact SUV segment and offers a boosting Hyundai Motor’s product
line up. The company also offers a warranty with 3 Years Unlimited Kilometres to all Creta customers.
The Creta will be available
in three engine variants – a 1.6L, Gamma Dual VTVT Petrol, a 1.6L, U2, CRDi VGT
(MT/AT) Diesel and a 1.4L, U2, CRDi Diesel. The 1.6L petrol engine produces
121.3bhp @ 6,400rpm, the 1.6L diesel produces 126.3bhp @ 4,000rpm and the 1.4L
diesel mill produces 88.8bhp @ 4,000 rpm. Below are the prices for the various
trims. As per ARAI standards the 1.6L petrol engine returns 15.29km to the litre,
the 1.6L Diesel returns 19.67km to the litre for the manual version and 17.01km
for the automatic and the 1.4L diesel returns 21.38km to the litre.

The Hyundai Creta is being
offered with leather seats, a fully automated temperature control, mood change
bar in FATC (Fully Automatic Temperature Control), electric folding ORVMs, rear AC vents, a smart key with push
button start & stop, steering mounted audio & Bluetooth controls, rear
armrest with cup-holders, front console armrest with a storage box, a 7 inch touch
screen infotainment system and follow me home lamps. The Creta has many safety
features as well like 6-airbags, ABS, reverse parking camera with sensors,
Electronic Stability Control, Vehicle Stability Management, Hill Start Assist
Control (HAC), Front Fog Lamps, Static Bending – Cornering Lamps and projector
headlamps as standard. The Creta will be available in 7 colours – Polar White,
Mystic Blue, Sleek Silver, Red Passion, Pearl Beige, Phantom Black, Stardust
