has now revealed the most powerful DB9 they have ever made-- the DB9 GT. Aston
Martin has also updated their super saloon Rapide S and their baby V8 Vantage
sports car. The three cars are set to debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in
the UK this year.
The DB9 GT
The new DB9
GT now gets a uprated 6.0 litre naturally aspirated V12 which produces 540bhp
and 620Nm of torque making it the most powerful DB9 to date. The engine is an
all-alloy, quad overhead cam, 48-valve 5,935 cc front mid-mounted V12 which is
mated to arear mid-mounted Touchtronic II six-speed transmission with
electronic shift-by-wire control system. The DB9 GT now does a 0-100kmph in 4.5
seconds and goes up to a top speed of 295kmph.
also get updated with the new DB9 GT. The AMi II touch-sensitive infotainment system
is revised from the Vanquish to make it even more user friendly. The system
includes text message integration, vehicle status information, Bluetooth audio
streaming and extended background themes for greater personalisation with “GT”
embroidery on the seats.

exterior, though the car might look like an ordinary DB9 to a layman, the GT is
a set apart with subtle touches like black painted splitter and diffuser,
revised headlights and tail lights, new ten-spoke 20-inch alloy wheels and a
small GT badge at the back with black anodised brake callipers and a GT
engraving on the aluminium fuel filler cap.
further options to customise, buyers can now get carbon fibre tail lamp
inserts, side strakes, front splitter and rear diffuser, graphite,
diamond-turned ten-spoke alloy wheels and alternative brake caliper colours.

stylish, while retaining its unmistakable and globally renowned identity.”
The DB9 GT is
now available to order in markets around the world, priced from £140,000 in the
UK (Rs. 1.4 crore approx) , €187,000 in Germany, $199,950 in America.
Vantage and Rapide S revised
Vantage and the Rapide S get upgrades. Aston has now fitted the Vantage Coupe
and the Roadster with the new touch sensitive console facia just like they have
done for the Rapide S with the AMi II infotainment system. The System now also
reads vehicle status power and torque meters, giving real-time read-outs of
engine bhp and torque to the driver.
also get new interior trims to choose from with the addition of Vivid Red,
Royal Mint, Black Damson and Bronze Metallic. The Vantage N430 gets the
Californian Poppy trim while American buyers can also enjoy Royal Mint, Spicy
Red, Copper and Deep Purple trims for the Vantage GT. The Cinnabar Orange and
Ultramarine black exterior colours are now also available in the V8 Vantage.
