As reported by Motown India on May 27, 2015, Audi India introduced the Audi RS 6 Avant, the first sportscar with an Avant body style. The car was unveiled by Joe King, Head, Audi India and Indian cricketer and a friend of Audi Virat Kohli. The Audi RS 6 Avant is priced at Rs 1,35,00,750 (ex-showroom New Delhi and Mumbai) and is available at all Audi dealerships across India.
Incidentally, early May 2015 Kohli had taken delivery of a limited edition Audi R8 LMX from Audi in Mumbai.
With its low, flowing roofline, the Audi RS 6 Avant is a sure head turner from every angle. We are confident that the elegant dynamics of the car will appeal to auto enthusiasts seeking style, speed and luxury,” said Joe King.
The RS adaptive air suspension combines air suspension with a continuously variable damper system. As it is linked into the Audi Drive Select feature, the suspension can be customised across a range of characteristics. Four modes can be selected via MMI: Auto, Comfort, Dynamic as well as Individual.
The Single-frame grille at the front gives a wider stance. The tail lamps are entirely LED, and rear dynamic turn signals are standard in combination with the Matrix LED headlights. The cockpit is tailored to the driver, with the centre console oriented in the driver's direction.
The Audi RS 6 Avant comes in nine standard colours and one Matt finish colour.
