At the Geneva Motor Show MINI announced a MINI Countryman which will get a crossover variant that can go off-road and will be available in 4 wheel drive.
Starting July 2014, the MINI Countryman Park Lane will be offered with three powertrain variants: The MINI Cooper Countryman, the MINI Cooper S Countryman with 181bhp and the MINI Cooper S Countryman ALL4 with all-wheel drive.
The styling is where the major changes are for the Countryman Park Lane. The body finish in dual tone Ear Grey metallic paint with Oak Red for the roof and exterior mirror caps with optional Oak Red stripes on the bonnet tailgate and lower side sections. The Countryman Park Lane will have 18-inch alloy wheels in Turbo Fan Dark Grey design. The Cooper S ALL4 variant will also come with an Exterior Visual Package with silver body elements.
In India, MINI brand from the BMW Group made a huge impact despite its steep price tag with the Mini Countryman. Now with the unveil of a crossover with 4 wheel drive, and India being a huge crossover market, the Park Lane might just land up in India soon.
