The iconic Mitsubishi Pajero now comes with a dual tone body paint. The Pajero is available in India through Hindustan Motors Finance Corporation Ltd. (HMFCL). According to a press release, the flame red-white and lemon yellow-white SUV rolling out of the company’s Thiruvallur plant in the southern state of Tamil Nadu is finding enthusiastic takers countrywide.
HMFCL Managing Director Uttam Bose, said that “more footfalls and higher rate of conversion prove that imparting dual tone to Pajero Sport has clicked with the customers. Buyers can expect more from us in the coming days.”
The dual tone Pajero Sport comes with additional features like DVD display and cooler box. The Mitsubishi Pajero is powered by a 2.5L 16-valve intercooled turbocharged DOHC common rail DI-D engine which pumps out 176bhp@4000 rpm and a peak torque of 400Nm@ 2000-2500rpm. The Pajero has a wheelbase of 2800mm, overall width of 1815mm, overall length of 4695mm, height of 1840mm and a minimum ground clearance of 215mm. The kerb weight of the vehicle is 2065kg. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gear box.
