Volkswagen is set to introduce the new Virtus, bringing a refreshed design expression to a sedan that has earned great recognition amongst its discerning set of customers. Since its launch in June 2022, with its distinctive design, German engineering credentials, engaging driving dynamics, premium experience and focus on safety, the Virtus has emerged as a favourite making it the most loved premium sedan in its segment. The new Virtus builds on this legacy, bringing a fresh visual character while retaining the qualities that have made it a segment favourite.
Commenting on the upcoming launch, Nitin Kohli, Brand Director, Volkswagen India, said, “We are excited to introduce the New Virtus to the Indian market. The Virtus has built a strong connect with its discerning set of customers and has clearly established a leading position in its segment as a stylish, sophisticated and performance-oriented sedan offering great driving pleasure. With this facelift, we are building on a much-loved product, bringing a fresh and contemporary character while retaining the qualities that make the Virtus special. We look forward to continuing to bring the joy of driving to our customers with the New Virtus.”
Adding a new dimension to this established character, the refreshed design draws inspiration from triangular geometry, bringing greater definition and a contemporary edge to the sedan's already distinctive presence. The new Virtus continues to celebrate the joy of driving while staying true to the qualities that have made it a favourite among Volkswagen customers.
