Mercedes-AMG G 63 ‘Offroad PRO’ unveiled at Rs 3.80 cr onward

It comes with a handcrafted bi-turbo 4.0L V8 engine, with 48V Mild Hybrid Technology, delivering 585 hp and 850 Nm torque. It is equipped with the latest MBUX NTG7 infotainment system, offering seamless connectivity and an intuitive user interface, including Augmented Reality Navigation.

Technical Specifications of the AMG G 63 Offroad PRO variant

The luxurious interior features Nappa leather, high-quality materials, and a customizable ambient lighting system. The AMG G 63 ‘Offroad PRO’ comes standard with AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive and the innovative AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension, delivering superior handling both on and off the road. The new off-road cockpit on the dashboard offers easy access to all off-road functions and features, strategically repositioned for effortless accessibility.

The technology package enhances the new G63 with a more comprehensive suite of ADAS functions. The all-new Mercedes-AMG G 63 retains the legendary G-Class silhouette with AMG-specific touches, including flared wheel arches, a new AMG-specific bumper, and aggressive front fascia.

Key Highlights of the Offroad PRO

AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension: The AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension supplements the standard AMG RIDE CONTROL with active roll stabilisation – perfectly matched to the characteristics of the various drive programs. Off paved roads, this allows high driving stability or greater axle articulation. This ensures ground contact and traction even in the toughest terrain. At the same time, the suspension increases comfort when travelling over bumps.

AMG Active Balance Control: In all off-road drive programs, you can individually adjust the roll stiffness of the AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension to the prevailing conditions in 3 stages – from low (LOW) to rigid (HIGH). You enjoy a more precise suspension tuning and even more stability off-road.

AMG Traction PRO: With this mode, you benefit from maximum traction in the “Rock” and “Sand” drive programs. After activating AMG Traction PRO, your G 63 controls the braking torque for each wheel individually. In bogged down situations, e.g. in deep sand, the vehicle can shovel itself free. You can also set the desired degree of locking in 7 stages as required.

PROFESSIONAL roof luggage rack: Stow larger luggage or expedition accessories safely on the roof. Thanks to continuous aluminium panels and a removable rear ladder, the area is fully accessible and easy to reach.

Offroad Wheels: Unique to this variant are the 20-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels painted in matte black with a diamond-turned rim flange equipped with 275/50 R20 tyres.
