MG Select, the luxury brand channel of JSW MG Motor India, announced the introduction of its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) ownership programme for the MG Cyberster and MG M9, offering luxury customers greater flexibility and choice in electric mobility. Customers can now own the MG Cyberster EV at a BaaS price of INR 72.49 lakh + INR 8.00/km battery rental, while the MG M9 EV will be available at a BaaS price of INR 69.99 lakh + INR 8.00/km battery rental.
With the inclusion of the MG Cyberster and MG M9, MG Select offers greater flexibility to luxury buyers while retaining the elite experience, advanced technology, performance, and comfort associated with MG Select's portfolio.
The MG Cyberster brings a bold new dimension to the world of performance cars, combining the excitement of a two-seater with the instant response of an electric powertrain. Inspired by the classic MGB Roadster, its dramatic styling is highlighted by electric scissor doors, cockpit-style seating interiors, and a low-slung silhouette, ensuring it attracts attention wherever it goes. Powered by a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive setup producing 510 PS and 725 Nm, it can sprint from 0-100 km/h in around 3.2 seconds.
The MG M9 brings a fresh perspective to executive travel, combining the practicality of a luxury MPV with a strong focus on passenger comfort and technology. Its lounge-inspired cabin is centred around Presidential Seats with 16-way adjustment, 8 massage modes, ventilation and heating, all controlled via an Intelligent Arm Rest. A yacht-style dual sunroof, 64-colour ambient lighting and a 13-speaker sound system further elevate the onboard experience. Safety features include Level 2 ADAS, a driver monitoring system (DMS) and seven airbags, and comes with certified 5-star EURO NCAP and ANCAP rating.
