car which costs almost Rs 7 lakh on Indian roads is now available at around Rs
5 lakh on road! Mahindra Electric Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., a part of the Mahindra
Group has announced the launch of an innovative and first-of-its-kind programme
called, ‘Goodbye Fuel, Hello Electric’ for an easy and simple ownership of its
automatic electric car, the e2o.
There will be
a monthly energy fee starting from Rs. 2,599/- which will allow the customer to
drive 50,000 KMs (800 KMs of usage per month) over 5 years. Thus a base model
of Reva e2o will cost Rs 4.82 lakh and the owner will be charged a monthly
energy feel payment of Rs 2599. A premium car will cost Rs 5.59 lakh plus the
monthly energy fee payment of Rs 2999. In case the owner want to avail of a
quick2charge facility then he pays up Rs 5.99 lakh and a monthly energy fee
payment of Rs 2999.
