Ferrari celebrated a historic moment in India with the national premiere of the 849 Testarossa, held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The presentation was structured across two exclusive moments. During the day, the car was unveiled to designated journalists, offering members of the media an in-depth look at the vehicle’s engineering, performance and design philosophy. In the evening, Ferrari hosted an exclusive client event and gala dinner, attended by more than 500 guests, where the 849 Testarossa was revealed to members of the Ferrari community and invited clients.
The reveal of the Ferrari 849 Testarossa was led by Ferrari Chief Executive Officer Benedetto Vigna and Ferrari Chief Marketing & Commercial Officer Enrico Galliera, who presented the vehicle on stage and shared insights into the vision, engineering philosophy, performance and design that define the new model.
The exclusive unveiling celebrates the arrival of one of Ferrari’s most iconic models in the Indian market and reflects the company’s ambition to further strengthen its presence in the country and deepen its connection with India’s passionate community of automotive enthusiasts.
Ferrari views India as an increasingly important market within its global strategy. Speaking at the event, CEO Benedetto Vigna highlighted the country’s potential and its strong alignment with Ferrari’s values: “India is a country that offers a lot of opportunities. It is a young country with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, and that energy resonates deeply with Ferrari’s own philosophy of innovation and passion.”
Ferrari’s presence in India is supported by an established retail and service network, including dealerships in Mumbai and New Delhi, as well as a service point in Bengaluru. These locations provide clients across the country with access to Ferrari’s vehicles, expertise and ownership experience.
