Mercedes-Benz India announced the addition of a new variant, the CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’, for its upcoming launch of the CLA BEV in India. The CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’ will be in addition to the CLA 250+ ‘Long Range’ variant that will debut in the Indian market.
The CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’ will offer distinctive cues catering to diverse requirements of customers in terms of both range and styling. The CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’ will have the ‘Progressive Line’ styling, featuring comfort seats, multifunction sports leather steering wheel and two trim options. The equipment level of both CLA 250+ ‘Long Range’ and CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’ variants will, however, remain the same, continuing Mercedes-Benz India’s commitment to offer high product substance and latest technology as ‘standard’, to its customers in India.
Mercedes-Benz also announced the commencement of bookings for both the variants of the all-new CLA BEV. Bookings can be made with a payment of Rs. 1.5 lakh. Customers pre-booking the CLA BEV will be eligible for a complimentary wall box charger installed.
Upon its India launch, the CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’ will be complimenting the CLA 250+ ‘Long Range’ version. The CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’ will be introduced in the market based on the customer feedback, who wanted an additional option for the CLA BEV, in form of the CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’ having 542 kms range, in addition to the CLA 250+ variant. Deliveries for the ‘CLA 250+ Long Range’ and the ‘CLA 200 Standard Range’ will begin from end April and June respectively.
The CLA 250+ ‘Long Range’ with AMG Line has 792 kms of range, while CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’ with ‘Progressive Line’ boasts an impressive 542 kms of range. Equipment levels of both the CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’ and CLA 250+ ‘Long Range’ remains similar
