Fiat Group Automobiles India Private Limited (FGAIPL) has
rolled out the new stylish premium hatchback Punto Evo at a starting price of
Rs 455724. That is the cost of the petrol Active 1.2 litre model. The cost of the other petrol variants are: Dynamic
1.2L: Rs 512316, Emotion 1.4L Rs 665929. The cost of the diesel variants are: Active
1.3L Rs 527000, Dynamic 1.3L Rs 621602, Emotion 1.3L Rs 683580 and Sport 1.3L
93 PS for Rs 719990.
The Punto Evo has features like rear AC vents, premium
soft touch two tone dash, ambient light, all four auto down power windows, dual
stage driver side airbag, smart wipers and 16” alloys. The car comes with 3
year warranty with option of extending it to 2 more years and convenient
service intervals of 15,000 km. Fiat is also offering 3 year/ 45,000 km total
repair and maintenance programme at extra charges. There are seven variants of
the Punto Evo in seven colours.
On the outside it has unique Reindeer Headlamps, LED
optical guide tail lamps, blinkers on outside mirrors, premium chrome
embellishments and 16” alloys. In the inside, there is a soft touch dashboard,
ambient light, piano finish central console, sporty dials and new colour theme.
The car comes with bottle holders in door trims, foldable
cup/ bottle holder in front of rear AC vent, glove box, tumble fold rear seat
and closable unit in front dash to ensure plenty of utility space. It has a new redesigned seat cushions,
automatic climate control, rear AC vents, dead pedal footrest and all four
power auto down windows.
On safety front, it also boasts of first-in-segment features like two stage driver side airbag,
double crank prevention system, metal reinforced rear seat back, smart front
and rear wipers for better visibility.
Speaking on the launch Nagesh Basavanhalli, President and
Managing Director-FIAT Chrysler India Operations noted the company was now
strengthening its product portfolio in India with cars that are designed and
engineered keeping Indian conditions and need in mind.
