At a time when electric vehicles are trying to make a significant foothold in the passenger vehicle segment in India, Pravaig, an electric vehicle company founded in 2011 has launched the country’s first made-in-India electric SUV in two models, Defy and Veer. This Bengaluru based company specialises in making electric vehicles, batteries and AI solutions for autonomous vehicles. BORN ELECTRIC
The Pravaig “skateboard” platform locates the large battery in the centre of the floor of the vehicle, thus lowering the centre of gravity for better dynamics. The “Brutal Sophistication” design of the Pravaig is rooted in its all-electric architecture and comes to life on every surface.
“Pravaig is the only company focused on Right of Repair, Upgradability, and Data protection, an unmet need of users in Europe and USA. We believe that Defy Technology represents the future direction of all EV technologies" said Siddhartha Bagri, CEO of Pravaig, adding that "Defy makes this technology available for the first time to a broad audience - at a price unavailable from any other manufacturer. After combustion engines, and connected cars, we expect Defy to become the third industry standard. It is among the lowest carbon footprint car solution in the world."
EXCEPTIONAL ENTERTAINMENT
Brilliant screens, and 5G streaming, combined with a silk smooth UI, are some of the other features, unleashing the physical impact of ultra-dense sound with more power, clarity, and precision. Devialet has crafted an incredible listening experience for Defy with their signature implosive sound. The Defy is highly personalised with 9 exterior paintwork colours and 5 interior trim colours. A host of other personalisation options & accessories are available.
With Home Chargers, Pravaig is partnered with the leading charger operators, available in every part of India. Initially, 85 percent of Defy reservations will be made directly on the Pravaig website. Defy will also be sold through Pravaig's authorised partners.
