Maruti Suzuki S-Presso with S-CNG technology at Rs 5.90 lakh onward

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched the S-CNG variant of the S-Presso. The S-CNG variant of the S-Presso with its dual-fuel flexibility will cost Rs 5.90 lakh onward.

The new S-Presso S-CNG is powered by a Next Gen K-series1.0L Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine. The S-Presso S-CNG’s engine develops a peak power output of 56.69ps@5300RPM and max torque of 82.1Nm@3400RPM in CNG Mode. Available with a 5-speed manual gearbox, the S-Presso S-CNG delivers a fuel-efficiency of 32.73km/kg.

The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso S-CNGhas been conceptualized, designed and developed at the company’s Research & Development facility. The suspension setup of the S-Presso S-CNG has been calibrated to the updated powertrain for enhancing the ride quality, comfort and safety. Maruti Suzuki’s Research & Development facility conducts rigorous testing for its factory-fitted S-CNG cars to deliver unmatched safety^, performance, durability and fuel-efficiency.

Maruti Suzuki has 10 S-CNG models on offer. All of them are fitted with dual-interdependent Electronic Control Units (ECU), an intelligent fuel injection system, stainless steel pipes and joints, along with integrated wiring harnesses for the CNG system. The S-CNG system comes with a micro switch that ensures the engine is turned off and does not start during the CNG fuel-filling process.
